The #1 Topic I'm Asked About as a Public Speaking Coach

As a public speaking coach, I get asked about A LOT of different topics. How do I make my topic more engaging? How do I speak to camera and not feel totally self-conscious?

But, the number one topic that I get asked about - and the number one experience that my clients struggle with is…

NERVES! 😨

Yep. No matter people's ages, professions, levels of expertise, or backgrounds, nerves are the #1 topic they want to discuss.

More specifically, they want to rid themselves of nerves once and for all, so that they can march onto that stage, or into that conference, or Zoom room feeling totally…calm.🧘

Or, at least that's what they think they want.

Being calm in front of an audience is a pretty big misconception. And, we'll delve deep into that misconception during coaching sessions, or when you take my Speak BOLDLY course.

You might think you want to be calm in front of your audience, but what do you really want?

You probably want their respect, right? You probably want to be seen as the expert and gamechanger that you are. You probably want...

🌺 A big promotion!

🌺 That perfect client!

🌺 To see your ideas making waves in your industry!

🌺 To finally get your business off the ground!

🌺 To help your community!

🌺 Enough money to close on your dream home!

I work with my clients on transforming their relationship with their nerves. But, let's be honest. Nerves represent much more than physical sensations in the body, don't they?

Your nerves are what's standing between you and what you want to bring into your life. Learning to manage your nerves means welcoming in the life you are dreaming of.

When my clients develop this new mindset 💭 and put brand new strategies in place so that their nerves no longer hijack their whole experience, it's amazing to watch their worlds open up.

And, by the time my clients are ready and eager to give their presentation, speak on that panel, or give that hilarious groomsman speech, they are filled with confidence and energy.
