What's Left on the Table?

If you've ever coached with me, you've probably heard me say that presenting is the art of being present.

When you're in front of your team or a client or a room full of strangers, being present means…

🌞 Thinking clearly

🌞 Listening intently

🌞 Trusting your flow

🌞 Truly connecting with your audience (instead of talking at them)

🌞 Gaining their trust

🌞 Potentially raising your earning potential

On the flip side, not being present means…

🌩 Trying to replicate exactly how you said that sentence in rehearsal

🌩 Looking at your slides instead of your audience

🌩 Sounding like a robot

🌩 Moving like a robot

🌩 Letting those critical inner voices distract you

🌩 Not sleeping for day (or weeks!) before the presentation

Do you relate to any of those storm clouds?

Or to very uncomfortable Drew here in her cute blue work shirt?

What kinds of opportunities are you leaving behind by not being present?

What worlds of possibility will open up for you when you are in the moment?

Here's a hint: Whatever just came to mind - think even bigger.

It's amazing to see what my clients accomplish in their professional and personal lives as soon as they quiet down the negative thought loops in their heads, trust themselves, and let go of that self doubt.

Pretty soon, I'll be saying that about you.
